Gift
Your birthday came, your birthday went
No card or present has been sent
Soon you'll return to visit us
The time has come to make a fuss
With one week left I've got to hurry
But I won't fret and I won't worry
I made a plan a while ago
To measure fabric, snip and sew
Now that the bits are stitched in place
I can hardly wait to see your face
I hope you think my gift's as fine
As you are to me oh sister mine

Gorgeous and your sister will adore the poem, and the wonderful hand-made gift. I love the rhythm that you used, such fun!
ReplyDeleteIt better be fun. I'm getting exhausted!
DeleteThe handiwork is beautiful, and the poem ends on such a high note. Hope the celebration was fun!
