I started this poem for a friend a while ago, but felt too raw to finish it. Today I decided it was time to pare it down to the essentials, and let it go.

I'm not sure I understand it, Cheriee, but if you are glad you shared, then I am, too. Hugs to you in your loss.
ReplyDeleteOur friend died unexpectedly and was involved in so many things that his loss was felt across his community and beyond. The poem is supposed to represent that loss as well as how it feels to those of us who loved him dearly.
