Big Book Summer 2023

Once again I'm joining other readers who plan to read some weighty tomes over the summer. The challenge begins at the end of May and continues through to the Labour Day weekend. The only rule is that the book has to be at least 400 pages. You can read as many or as few books as you want. You can even get through them as audiobooks!

(I started in May, but haven't managed to get a blog post finished until today!)

You can find out more about this challenge at Sue Jackson's blog, Book By Book.

I collect possible titles for this challenge throughout the year. Sometimes I even read them before the challenge begins. I have been known to add a book or two as the summer progresses. My goal is always to just read as many books from the list as I can.

  1. Welcome back to Big Book Summer, Cheriee! Wow, that is quite a list. My #1 book of last year was Project Hail Mary - it is completely unique and I highly recommend it. And so far, my #1 book of this year is Demon Copperhead (and Lessons in Chemistry is a close second!). So, I hope you can get to those 3 this summer. Enjoy!
