I am a very lucky Grandmother who shares a house with her son, daughter-in-law, and 22 month old granddaughter.
Morning Joy “Gamma!” she cries, smiling wide, outstretched arms toddle wobbling down the hall up and into my heart again Links to other bloggers who are participating in the Poem a Day Challenge can be found here.
Darling picture, and that end to the poem, yes, "into your heart". I was working at the bookstore today and a woman came in and asked for help choosing some picture books for her "new" grandchild. She was so, so excited. I told her good things were coming! Thanks, Cheriee. This is so sweet.
She is adorable! Love this poem too! Captures the moments so sweetly!
ReplyDeleteYou are a really lucky grandma! My granddaughter lives 2000 miles away, and I'm lucky if I see her twice a year! I love "toddle wobbling!" Perfect!
